At 3:45pm today Corin Sworn and Jude Browning present ‘The Unpickers’.
A script written for two voices that shifts between descriptions of clothes and tactile sensations of wear. In snippets of narrative the immediacy of intimate knowledge presents a garment’s behaviour as inverting agent and object roles. The Unpickers takes the daily practice of dressing as a ritual where fantasy and reality remain undecided, a site to experiment with inarticulate marks, loose amid our system of signs.
