Sop, whilst shielding in the pandemic, made a secret den in the edges of a cemetery next to a wood seeking respite in nature. They document their relationship to this modest space, which they visit throughout the seasons, through narration and the soundscapes of the wood and the quiet cemetery. The work attempts to give an insight into how it felt being classed as a “clinically extremely vulnerable” person, told not to leave the house, and how this extra layer of fragility impacts on a person already living with chronic illness.
